  1. Provide exceptional care and support to patients seeking breast health services at Piedmont Healthcare.
  2. Assist with screening and diagnostic procedures, such as mammograms and ultrasounds.
  3. Educate patients and their families on breast health and available services at Piedmont Healthcare.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
  5. Maintain organized and accurate records of patient information and procedures.
  6. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
  7. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to breast health through training and education opportunities.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address any concerns or questions.
  9. Maintain a compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients, providing emotional support as needed.
  10. Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Certification: A Breast Health Assistant, Prn At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. Some Employers May Require Candidates To Have A Certification In Medical Assisting Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Breast Health: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Breast Health, Including Breast Anatomy, Breast Cancer, And Various Breast Imaging Techniques.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Breast Health Department, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial For A Breast Health Assistant. Candidates Should Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.

  • Organizational And Administrative Skills: This Position Requires Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail. Candidates Should Be Able To Manage Multiple Tasks, Maintain Accurate Records, And Follow Established Protocols And Procedures. Experience With Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems Is Preferred.
