- Assist with screening and diagnostic procedures, such as mammograms and ultrasounds.
- Educate patients and their families on breast health and available services at Piedmont Healthcare.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of patient information and procedures.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to breast health through training and education opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address any concerns or questions.

Education And Certification: A Breast Health Assistant, Prn At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. Some Employers May Require Candidates To Have A Certification In Medical Assisting Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Breast Health: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Breast Health, Including Breast Anatomy, Breast Cancer, And Various Breast Imaging Techniques.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Breast Health Department, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial For A Breast Health Assistant. Candidates Should Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
