Job Description

Welcome! At Piedmont Healthcare, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis. In this role, you will play a vital role in our patients' recovery and rehabilitation process. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping others, have excellent communication skills, and a strong knowledge of sports medicine and injury prevention. If you are a team player with a positive attitude, we would love to have you on our team!

  1. Provide top-quality care to patients by assessing, treating, and preventing athletic injuries.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  3. Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and proper techniques for athletic activities.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and progress reports.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  6. Stay updated on current developments and advancements in sports medicine and injury prevention.
  7. Monitor and evaluate patient progress to adjust treatment plans as needed.
  8. Adhere to all safety and ethical standards in patient care.
  9. Work collaboratively with other athletic trainers and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  11. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining equipment.
  12. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of Piedmont Healthcare.
  13. Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Support the overall mission and goals of Piedmont Healthcare.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field

  • Certified Athletic Trainer (Atc) Through The Board Of Certification (Boc)

  • Current Cpr And First Aid Certification

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Experience Working As An Athletic Trainer With A Variety Of Sports Or Athletic Programs

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Athletes, Coaches, And Healthcare Professionals.
