  1. Assist the anesthesiologist in administering safe and effective anesthesia services to patients.
  2. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, including cleaning, sterilizing, and stocking supplies.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures.
  4. Set up and maintain IV lines and administer medications as directed.
  5. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the anesthesia process.
  6. Troubleshoot equipment issues and promptly report any malfunctions.
  7. Document and maintain accurate records of patient information and anesthesia procedures.
  8. Assist in the transport of patients to and from the operating room.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  11. Stay updated on new anesthesia techniques and equipment through ongoing education and training.
  12. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  13. Handle all confidential patient information with sensitivity and discretion.
  14. Communicate effectively with the anesthesia team and other healthcare professionals.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the anesthesiologist or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Anesthesia Technician Program Or Equivalent Education And Training.

  • Certification As A Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t.) Through The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Anesthesia Equipment, Procedures, And Safety Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Pressure Environment.
