- Assist anesthesiologists and other team members in the operating room during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Set up and monitor patient monitoring devices.
- Assist with patient positioning and transfer to and from the operating room.
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
- Provide support and assistance during emergencies or unexpected situations.

Clinical Experience: Previous Experience Working In A Surgical Setting, Specifically In The Operating Room, Is Highly Desirable For An Anesthesia Tech Position At Piedmont Healthcare. Candidates Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment, As Well As Experience With Patient Monitoring And Anesthesia Administration.
Strong Communication Skills: Anesthesia Techs Must Have Excellent Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With The Surgical Team And Be Able To Respond Quickly And Effectively In Emergency Situations.
Attention To Detail: Precision And Accuracy Are Crucial In The Operating Room, And Anesthesia Techs Must Be Detail-Oriented To Ensure The Safety And Well-Being Of Patients. This Includes Proper Equipment Setup, Monitoring Patient Vitals, And Documenting All Procedures Accurately.
Ability To Work Nights And Weekends: Anesthesia Techs At Piedmont Healthcare May Be Required To Work Night Shifts And Weekends, As Surgeries May Occur At Any Time. Flexibility In Scheduling And Availability To Work These Shifts Is An Important Qualification For This Position.
