- Assist with the delivery of safe and effective anesthesia care to patients.
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Set up and assist with anesthesia procedures, including positioning and monitoring patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and respond to equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Provide support to anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the anesthesia workspace.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Complete any other tasks or duties assigned by the supervisor.
Certification: A Minimum Of One Year Of Experience As An Anesthesia Technician And Current Certification From A Recognized Organization, Such As The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment: Strong Understanding And Proficiency In Handling And Maintaining Anesthesia Equipment, Including Anesthesia Machines, Monitors, Ventilators, And Other Related Equipment.
Surgical Experience: Prior Experience In A Surgical Setting Is Preferred, With Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures, Sterile Techniques, And Surgical Equipment.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Communicate With Healthcare Team Members And Patients. Must Be Able To Follow Instructions And Work Well Under Pressure.
Attention To Detail: Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Multi-Task In A Fast-Paced Environment. Must Be Able To Accurately Document Patient Information And Maintain Patient Records.
