1. Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and their pets.
2. Assist veterinarians and technicians with various procedures and treatments, including but not limited to administering medication, taking blood samples, and assisting with surgeries.
3. Handle and restrain animals in a safe and compassionate manner.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including exam rooms and treatment areas.
5. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, including nutrition, grooming, and preventative care.
6. Prepare and maintain medical records for each patient.
7. Assist with inventory management, stocking and ordering supplies as needed.
8. Monitor and record vital signs of animals during appointments and procedures.
9. Comfort and provide emotional support to pet owners during difficult situations.
10. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for both animals and team members.
11. Continuously expand knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities.
12. Communicate effectively with team members, veterinarians, and pet owners to ensure the best possible care for each animal.
13. Follow all policies and procedures set forth by the company and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
14. Maintain confidentiality of all patient and client information.
15. Assist with any other duties as assigned by the veterinary team.
