2. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met and exceeded.
3. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability, while also maintaining budgetary goals.
4. Lead and mentor a team of employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and services, and providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and a shared passion for animals.
6. Monitor and analyze store performance metrics and make necessary adjustments to improve overall performance.
7. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, and negotiate favorable terms to maximize profitability.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor activity to make informed business decisions.
10. Work closely with other department heads and upper management to develop and implement company-wide initiatives and goals.
11. Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner, and take proactive measures to prevent future problems.
12. Conduct regular store audits to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company standards.
13. Prepare and present reports to upper management on store performance, sales trends, and other relevant data.
14. Maintain a thorough understanding of all products and services offered by Petco, and communicate this information to customers and employees.
15. Serve as a brand ambassador for Petco, promoting the company's mission and values both internally and externally.
