1. Stock and organize merchandise according to company standards to ensure a clean and visually appealing store environment.
2. Greet and assist customers with their purchases, providing exceptional customer service.
3. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, following proper cash handling procedures.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of all store products and services to effectively answer customer questions and make recommendations.
5. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or low stock levels to management.
6. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely restocking of merchandise and to maintain a fully stocked sales floor.
7. Assist with receiving and unpacking shipments, verifying accuracy of merchandise and stocking products on shelves and displays.
8. Maintain a clean and organized cash wrap area, ensuring all supplies are well-stocked and readily available.
9. Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of customers, pets, and team members.
10. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction by actively listening to customer feedback and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
11. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to the pet industry.
12. Contribute to the overall success of the store by assisting in other tasks as needed, including but not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with adoptions.
