1. Stocking and organizing shelves: Responsible for restocking shelves with merchandise, ensuring shelves are neat and organized, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure products are always available for customers.
2. Cash handling: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit payments, and provide customers with receipts and change as needed.
3. Customer service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, address their inquiries and concerns, and provide them with product information and recommendations.
4. Maintaining store appearance: Keep the store clean and presentable at all times by regularly cleaning and organizing designated areas, including the checkout counter and stocking areas.
5. Product knowledge: Stay up-to-date on all products and promotions to effectively assist customers and make product recommendations based on their needs.
6. Follow procedures and policies: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a safe and positive work environment for both employees and customers.
7. Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and assist in tasks as needed to support the overall success of the store.
8. Time management: Efficiently manage time to ensure tasks are completed within designated time frames and prioritize tasks as needed.
9. Cash register maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of cash registers, including ensuring adequate supply of cash and receipt paper.
10. Pet care: Exhibit a love and passion for animals by ensuring their safety and well-being in the store, and providing assistance to customers with pet-related inquiries.
