  1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure the store is fully stocked.
  3. Organize and maintain store displays to create an inviting and visually appealing environment for customers.
  4. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering product recommendations.

Job Qualifications
  • Customer Service Skills: A Stocker / Cashier At Petco Should Have Excellent Customer Service Skills To Assist Customers In Finding Products, Answering Questions, And Resolving Any Issues.

  • Retail Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Particularly In Stocking And Cashiering, Is Preferred For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Cash Handling Procedures And Basic Math Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Pet Products: A Strong Understanding Of Pet Products And Their Uses Is Important For This Role, As The Stocker / Cashier Will Be Responsible For Restocking Shelves And Assisting Customers In Finding The Right Products For Their Pets.

  • Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Physical Tasks Such As Lifting And Carrying Heavy Bags Of Pet Food And Supplies, As Well As Standing For Long Periods Of Time. Therefore, Candidates Should Have The Physical Stamina To Handle These Tasks.

  • Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial For A Stocker / Cashier At Petco. This Includes Accurately Counting And Stocking Inventory, Handling Cash And Credit Transactions, And Ensuring The Store Is Organized And Well-Maintained.
