- Maintain cleanliness and organization: Regularly clean and tidy the store, including the checkout area, to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
- Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth store operations, including assisting with tasks outside of your primary responsibilities when needed.

Previous Retail Experience: A Qualified Stocker / Cashier At Petco Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Pet Store Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Understanding Of Customer Service, Cash Handling, And Stocking Procedures.
Knowledge Of Pet Products: To Be Successful As A Stocker / Cashier At Petco, Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of Pet Products, Including Food, Toys, And Supplies. This Knowledge Will Help Them Assist Customers With Their Purchases And Make Recommendations Based On Their Pet's Needs.
Cash Handling Skills: As A Cashier At Petco, Candidates Will Be Responsible For Handling Cash, Credit, And Debit Transactions. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Math Skills And Be Comfortable Working With Numbers. Previous Experience As A Cashier Is Preferred.
