Previous Retail Experience: A Qualified Stocker / Cashier At Petco Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Pet Store Or Related Industry. This Experience Should Demonstrate An Understanding Of Customer Service, Cash Handling, And Stocking Procedures.
Knowledge Of Pet Products: Petco Is A Specialty Pet Store, So A Stocker / Cashier Must Have Knowledge Of Various Pet Products, Including Food, Toys, And Accessories. This Knowledge Will Allow Them To Assist Customers With Product Inquiries And Make Suitable Recommendations.
Strong Organizational Skills: As A Stocker / Cashier, One Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities Simultaneously. This Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Ensure That The Store Shelves Are Well-Stocked, The Register Is Attended To, And Customers Are Provided With Prompt And Efficient Service.
Cash Handling Experience: As A Cashier, One Must Have Experience Handling Cash, Credit, And Debit Transactions. This Includes Counting Money Accurately, Processing Returns And Exchanges, And Maintaining The Cash Register And Surrounding Area In A Neat And Organized Manner.
