Job Description

As a Stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our shelves are always fully stocked with the products and supplies that our furry friends need.   1. Maintain a fully stocked and organized store by ensuring that shelves and displays are properly stocked and arranged according to company standards.
  2. Receive and check in merchandise, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
  3. Utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor stock levels, product movement, and expiration dates.
  4. Restock shelves and displays with new merchandise and rotate products to ensure the oldest items are sold first.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by promptly cleaning up spills, organizing backroom areas, and following company safety procedures.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, locating items, and offering suggestions and recommendations.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the store is adequately staffed and all tasks are completed efficiently.
  8. Assist in receiving and processing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  9. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to better assist customers.
  10. Follow company procedures for handling damaged or defective merchandise and report any discrepancies to management.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and inventory control.
  12. Continuously monitor stock levels and communicate any inventory shortages or discrepancies to management.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and serve as a positive role model for other team members.
  14. Attend and participate in all required training and meetings to stay informed about company updates and changes.
  15. Embrace the company's mission and values, and represent the brand positively in all interactions with customers and fellow team members.

  • Excellent Organizational Skills: A Stocker At Petco Must Have The Ability To Keep Track Of Inventory, Restock Shelves, And Maintain A Clean And Orderly Stockroom.

  • Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Frequent Lifting And Carrying Of Heavy Items, As Well As Standing, Bending, And Reaching For Extended Periods Of Time.
