  1. Greeting and welcoming customers to the store with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Assisting customers in finding and selecting products and services that meet their specific needs.
  3. Providing knowledgeable and accurate information about products and services to customers.
  4. Building and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  5. Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking products and keeping shelves and displays tidy.
  6. Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  7. Proactively approaching customers and offering assistance to increase sales and meet store goals.
  8. Staying up-to-date on current promotions and sales to effectively communicate to customers.
  9. Participating in training and development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge of products and services.
  10. Collaborating with team members to ensure the store is meeting sales goals and providing excellent customer service.
  11. Maintaining a strong understanding of the store's policies and procedures.
  12. Adhering to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for customers and pets.
  13. Demonstrating a genuine love and passion for animals and providing exceptional care to any pets in the store.
  14. Continuously striving to improve sales techniques and meet personal and store sales targets.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge And Passion For Animals: A Sales Associate At Petco Should Have A Deep Understanding And Appreciation For Various Types Of Pets And Their Needs. This Will Allow Them To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Provide Appropriate Recommendations For Products And Services.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: A Successful Sales Associate Should Be Friendly, Approachable, And Able To Provide Excellent Customer Service. They Should Be Able To Handle Customer Inquiries And Concerns In A Professional And Timely Manner.
