As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customers and their pets by providing excellent customer service and knowledge about our products. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about animals, have exceptional communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding products and services that best suit their needs and their pets' needs.
  3. Educate customers about Petco's products and services, including their features and benefits.
  4. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of pet care and provide advice and recommendations to customers.
  5. Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  6. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and organizing displays.
  8. Actively engage with customers to build relationships and promote customer loyalty.
  9. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  10. Continuously learn about new products and services offered by Petco and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
  13. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  14. Assist in other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
