  1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  2. Engage with customers and actively listen to their needs, providing knowledgeable recommendations for products and services that will benefit their pets.
  3. Educate customers on the benefits and features of various products, including food, toys, and accessories, to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
  4. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and gift card payments.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed.
  6. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, conducting regular inventory counts, and identifying low stock levels.
  7. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  8. Continuously expand knowledge of pet products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements.
  9. Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  10. Uphold Petco's standards for animal care and welfare, ensuring all pets in the store are properly cared for and have a safe and comfortable environment.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety protocols, cash handling procedures, and customer service guidelines.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  13. Embody the Petco brand and values, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  14. Support store operations, including opening and closing procedures, restocking shelves, and maintaining visual standards.
  15. Serve as a brand ambassador for Petco, promoting our mission and values to customers and the community.
