Job Description

As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a positive and memorable shopping experience.   1. Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding the right products for their pets by providing knowledgeable recommendations and information.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of all products and services offered by Petco.
  4. Proactively approach and engage with customers to increase sales and meet sales goals.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  6. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking products and organizing displays.
  8. Continuously educate oneself on new products and industry trends to better assist customers.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any customer inquiries or concerns.
  10. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and targets.
  11. Follow all company policies and procedures, including inventory management and loss prevention measures.
  12. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the store.
  13. Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed.
  14. Attend regular training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
  15. Represent the Petco brand positively and professionally at all times.
