Job Description

  1. Greet and welcome customers to Petco in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding the products and services that best meet their needs.
  3. Educate customers on the benefits and features of Petco's products and services.
  4. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively promote and upsell products.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
  6. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  7. Keep store shelves and displays fully stocked and organized.
  8. Ensure store cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies.
  9. Continuously learn about new products and participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  10. Build relationships with customers and their pets to create a welcoming and personal shopping experience.
  11. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  12. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  13. Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times, representing Petco's values and mission.
  14. Participate in special events and promotions to attract new customers and increase sales.
  15. Continuously strive to improve sales techniques and customer service skills.
