Welcome to Petco - where we love pets just as much as you do! We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate at Petco, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners by providing exceptional customer service and promoting our wide range of products and services. We are looking for someone who shares our love and appreciation for animals and is eager to help pet parents find the perfect solutions for their furry friends. If you have a friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, and a knack for sales, then we'd love to hear from you!

  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding the perfect products and services for their pets.
  3. Educate customers on the various products and services offered by Petco.
  4. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and services to effectively assist customers.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions.
  6. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  7. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively promoting and upselling products and services.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized store appearance to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  9. Continuously learn about new products and services in order to stay up-to-date and better assist customers.
  10. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
  11. Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and their pets.
  12. Attend and participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products and services.
  13. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  14. Actively listen to customer feedback and communicate it to the store management team.
  15. Continuously strive to improve sales skills and product knowledge in order to provide the best service to customers.
