Job Description

Petco is seeking a highly motivated Omni Merchandise Operations Analyst to join our team! As an integral member of our Merchandising Operations team, you will be responsible for driving and supporting the operations of our Omni-channel business. If you have a strong analytical mindset, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a desire to make a tangible impact on a growing organization, we want to hear from you!

  1. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the company's Omni-channel business.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiencies.
  3. Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure the success of operations and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Utilize data to identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide visibility into operational performance.
  6. Proactively identify and troubleshoot operational issues, providing timely resolutions.
  7. Partner with merchandising teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and proper product placement across all channels.
  8. Communicate and present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in retail operations and data analysis.
  10. Support the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Omni-channel business.
  11. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  12. Work with vendors and third-party partners to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
  13. Assist in the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts related to Omni-channel operations.
  14. Train and mentor team members on data analysis techniques and tools.
  15. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with team members and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • 2-3 Years Of Experience In Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Or Inventory Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Strategic Recommendations.

  • Proficient In Microsoft Excel And Merchandise Planning Software (Ex: Jda, Oracle, Etc.).

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Vendors.
