- Ensure all products are accurately priced, labeled, and displayed according to company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Petco, engaging with customers to provide product information and assist with their purchasing decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor strategies to continually improve Petco's merchandising techniques.
- Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, in the merchandising department.
Strong Retail Experience: A Merchandising Supervisor At Petco Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Supervisory Role. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Sales Techniques.
Knowledge Of Pet Care: As A Leader In The Pet Retail Industry, Petco Expects Its Merchandising Supervisors To Have A Strong Understanding Of Pet Care And Nutrition. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Types Of Pets, Their Needs, And The Products And Services That Petco Offers.
