1. Oversee and manage the shipping and transportation operations of our Petco Distribution Center.
2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and timely shipment of products to our stores.
3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
4. Lead and mentor a team of shipping and transportation associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and a positive work environment.
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory management, to ensure accurate and timely product availability for shipment.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in the transportation and shipping process.

9. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet store demand and minimize backorders.
10. Communicate with store managers to stay informed of any changes in product demand or delivery schedules.
11. Prepare and present reports on shipping and transportation performance to upper management.
12. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in logistics and transportation to implement best practices and maintain a competitive edge.
13. Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
15. Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure all team members do the same.
