- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent to support the company's objectives.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, providing support and guidance on HR-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR to continuously improve the company's HR processes.
- Handle employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution.
- Manage the employee benefits program, including enrollment, communication, and administration.
- Oversee the payroll process and ensure accurate and timely payments to employees.
- Provide support and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, and other HR-related matters.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued, engaged, and motivated.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hr Management, Preferably In A Retail Or Pet Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Resolve Employee Issues.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Hr Policies And Procedures, Including Performance Management, Employee Relations, And Benefits Administration.
