- Clean and sanitize patient areas and equipment to maintain a safe and sterile environment.

Knowledge Of Animal Care: A Qualified Candidate For A Hospital Veterinary Assistant Job At Petco Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Animal Care, Including Basic Health And Nutrition Needs, As Well As Common Diseases And Treatments.
Experience In A Veterinary Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Veterinary Clinic Or Hospital Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Experience Can Include Animal Handling, Administering Medications, And Assisting With Procedures.
