  1. Provide high-quality medical care to animals of all kinds, including but not limited to dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and reptiles.
  2. Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the health and condition of patients.
  3. Develop and implement treatment plans for a wide range of medical conditions, including injuries, illnesses, and chronic diseases.
  4. Administer medications and perform various medical procedures, such as surgeries, dental cleanings, and vaccinations.
  5. Monitor and record patient progress, including vital signs, lab results, and behavioral changes.
  6. Educate pet owners on proper care and handling of their animals, including nutrition, exercise, and preventative care.
  7. Collaborate with other veterinary professionals, such as technicians and assistants, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient care.
  9. Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  10. Continuously stay informed about advancements and developments in veterinary medicine to provide the best possible care to patients.
  11. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners at all times.
  12. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and promote a positive work culture.
  13. Follow all company policies and procedures, including ethical and legal standards, to maintain a high level of professionalism.
  14. Engage in outreach and community events to promote responsible pet ownership and the services offered at Petco.
  15. Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the hospital manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine (Dvm) Degree From An Accredited Veterinary School.

  • Licensed To Practice Veterinary Medicine In The State Where The Hospital Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Veterinarian In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience In Small Animal Medicine, Surgery, And Dentistry.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With A Focus On Providing Exceptional Customer Service To Pet Owners.
