In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming experience for all of our customers and their furry friends.   1. Greet and welcome customers and their pets with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers' needs and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and services offered at Petco in order to assist customers effectively.
  4. Create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere in the store to enhance the overall guest experience.
  5. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to meet customer needs.
  6. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and credit card transactions.
  7. Educate customers on proper pet care and offer recommendations for products and services to meet their specific needs.
  8. Act as a brand ambassador by promoting Petco's values and mission to provide quality care for pets.
  9. Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, escalating to management when necessary.
  10. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the store.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the guest experience and provide feedback and suggestions to management.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive light.
  14. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on products, services, and industry trends.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
