1. Perform grooming services for various types of pets, including bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trimming.
2. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area and equipment.
3. Interact with pet parents to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
4. Recommend and upsell additional grooming services and products.
5. Educate pet parents on proper pet grooming techniques and products to maintain their pets' health and appearance.
6. Handle and restrain pets in a safe and gentle manner.
7. Monitor pets for any signs of illness or injury and notify the appropriate team members.
8. Maintain accurate records of grooming appointments and services provided.
9. Continuously seek to improve grooming skills and stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with pet parents to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
11. Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet store goals.
12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and animal welfare guidelines.
13. Handle cash and credit card transactions for grooming services and products.
14. Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking grooming supplies as needed.
15. Occasionally assist in other store activities, such as pet adoptions and events.
