1. Provide exceptional grooming services to a variety of pets, including bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims.
2. Maintain a clean and safe grooming area for both pets and staff.
3. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
4. Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend products to maintain their pet's coat and overall health.
5. Stay up-to-date on grooming trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and services offered.
6. Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure the well-being of both pets and staff.
7. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Handle and document any incidents or concerns that may arise during grooming appointments.
9. Assist in maintaining inventory and restocking grooming supplies as needed.
10. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for pets and their owners.
11. Uphold company policies and standards in regards to customer service, animal care, and professionalism.
12. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales and grooming targets set by management.
13. Attend training and development opportunities to improve grooming skills and stay updated on company procedures.
14. Maintain a positive attitude and promote the Petco brand and mission to provide quality care to pets and their owners.
