  1. Provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including routine exams, surgeries, and treatments.
  2. Communicate effectively with pet owners to explain medical diagnoses and treatment plans.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with pet owners, ensuring their trust and satisfaction.
  4. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other veterinarians and staff to provide the best possible care for pets.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  6. Follow all hospital policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all animals.
  7. Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and implement new techniques and treatments as needed.
  8. Uphold the highest standard of ethical and professional conduct.
  9. Educate pet owners on preventive care and proper nutrition for their pets.
  10. Work with the hospital team to maintain a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff.
  11. Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to veterinary medicine.
  12. Attend continuing education and training opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge.
  13. Represent the hospital and Petco in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all clients.
  15. Serve as a mentor and resource for other staff members.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine (Dvm) Degree From An Accredited Veterinary School.

  • Active License To Practice Veterinary Medicine In The State Where The Hospital Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Environment.

  • Strong Diagnostic And Surgical Skills, Including Proficiency In Basic Procedures Such As Spays, Neuters, And Dental Cleanings.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Pet Owners.
