1. Greet and welcome customers to Petco, creating a positive and friendly atmosphere.
2. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers feel valued and their needs are met.
3. Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and gift card transactions.
4. Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers with their purchases.
5. Keep an organized and well-maintained cash register area, including cleaning and restocking supplies.
6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
7. Answer customer questions and offer product recommendations, utilizing knowledge of Petco's products and services.
8. Uphold Petco's standards for cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
9. Help to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for both customers and their pets.
10. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and meet sales goals.
11. Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and follow proper protocols for resolution.
12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing Petco's values at all times.
13. Attend training and meetings as required to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
14. Adhere to all cash handling and safety procedures.
15. Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
