Aquatics Specialist

1. Provide exceptional customer service to all Petco customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all pet owners.
2. Demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of aquatic animals and their care, including proper maintenance, nutrition, and handling techniques.
3. Assist customers in selecting the appropriate aquatic animals, equipment, and supplies for their specific needs and preferences.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all aquatic animals, including performing regular tank cleanings and water quality checks.
5. Educate customers on proper care and maintenance for their aquatic animals, as well as potential health concerns and treatment options.
6. Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels of aquatic animals, food, and supplies, and assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
7. Work closely with other store associates to ensure a cohesive and well-informed team approach to customer service and animal care.
8. Handle and resolve any customer concerns or complaints related to aquatic animals or their care.
9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in aquatic care, and share this knowledge with customers and fellow associates.
10. Adhere to all Petco policies and procedures, as well as any local, state, or federal regulations related to animal care and sales.
11. Conduct regular health checks on all aquatic animals and report any concerns or issues to the appropriate manager.
12. Assist with the training and development of new Aquatics team members.
13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Petco in a knowledgeable and enthusiastic manner.
14. Collaborate with the store management team to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction in the Aquatics department.
15. Continuously strive to uphold Petco's standards of excellence in animal care and customer service.
