1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
2. Educate customers on proper care and maintenance of aquatic life, including tank setup, water quality, and feeding.
3. Maintain a deep understanding of aquatic products and their uses, including filtration systems, pumps, and lighting.
4. Ensure the aquatic department is well-stocked and visually appealing, including regularly cleaning tanks and restocking products.
5. Monitor and maintain water quality and temperature for all aquatic animals in the store.
6. Assist with receiving and organizing shipments of aquatic animals and products.
7. Train and mentor new team members on proper care and handling of aquatic life.
8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in aquatic products and share knowledge with customers and team members.
9. Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints related to the aquatic department.
10. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of the aquatic animals and customers.
11. Collaborate with other departments to create engaging and educational displays and events.
12. Keep accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.
13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the aquatic department, such as introducing new products or implementing new processes.
14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including handling cash transactions and following inventory management protocols.
