- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store's animal habitats and common areas.
- Develop and implement protocols and procedures for the proper handling, feeding, and grooming of animals.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to animal care and welfare.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and animal health information.
- Communicate with customers and address any concerns or questions regarding animal care and welfare.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to provide a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
- Continuously evaluate and improve animal care practices and procedures to ensure the highest level of care for all animals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends related to animal care and incorporate new practices as needed.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Pet Care Or Retail Environment.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Animal Behavior, Care, And Nutrition.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Mentor Staff.
Ability To Handle And Manage Multiple Tasks And Priorities In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
High Level Of Customer Service And Problem-Solving Skills, With A Passion For Providing Exceptional Care For Animals And Their Owners.
