1. Provide exceptional care and support for all animals in our care.
2. Educate and advise pet owners on proper nutrition, grooming, and health for their pets.
3. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all animals in the store.
4. Monitor and assess the behavior and well-being of animals in the store.
5. Handle and restrain animals safely and appropriately.
6. Administer medications and treatments as directed by a veterinarian.
7. Assist with the adoption process, including screening potential adopters and completing necessary paperwork.
8. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and their pets.
9. Continuously update knowledge on animal care through training and education.
10. Follow all store policies and procedures, including safety protocols and animal welfare guidelines.
11. Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
12. Assist in inventory management, stocking, and merchandising of animal care products.
13. Respond promptly and effectively to any customer concerns or complaints.
14. Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding animal care.
15. Continuously strive to improve and increase the quality of care for animals in our store.
