- Develop and implement a strategic plan for parent and family engagement, in alignment with the overall goals and mission of Pepperdine University.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all parent and family inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and timely responses.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families, serving as an ambassador for the university and promoting a sense of community.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders across the university to ensure effective communication and coordination of efforts related to parent and family development.
- Plan and execute events and programming that engage and educate parents and families on the university experience and resources available to them.
- Develop and manage a budget for parent and family development activities and initiatives.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in parent and family engagement and incorporate them into the university's strategy.
- Create and maintain communication channels, such as newsletters and social media, to keep parents and families informed and connected to the university.
- Provide support and guidance to parents and families navigating the university experience, including addressing concerns and connecting them to relevant resources.
- Collaborate with admissions and enrollment teams to assist with recruitment and retention efforts by highlighting the role of parents in the university experience.
Master's Degree In Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Parent And Family Engagement Programs In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Parent And Family Development Within The Context Of Higher Education.
Demonstrated Success In Building And Maintaining Positive Relationships With Parents, Families, And University Stakeholders.
