- Maintain accurate records of teacher candidates' progress and performance.
- Uphold the university's standards and expectations for teacher candidates.
- Serve as a liaison between the university, teacher candidates, and cooperating teachers.
- Represent the university and graduate school in a professional and positive manner.
- Act as an advocate for the teacher candidates and support their growth and development as future educators.
Master's Degree In Education Or Related Field: The University Field Supervisor Pool Requires Candidates To Hold A Master's Degree In Education Or A Related Field, Demonstrating A Strong Academic Foundation In Teaching And Learning.
Teaching Experience: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Teaching Experience At The K-12 Level. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Classroom Dynamics And Can Effectively Guide And Support Student Teachers.
Knowledge Of Current Educational Practices: A Deep Understanding Of Current Educational Practices, Theories, And Research Is Essential For A University Field Supervisor. This Includes Knowledge Of Curriculum Development, Instructional Strategies, And Assessment Techniques.
