1. Operate shuttle vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
2. Provide reliable transportation services for students, faculty, and staff to and from designated locations on campus.
3. Maintain a clean and well-maintained shuttle vehicle at all times.
4. Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
5. Communicate effectively with passengers and provide exceptional customer service.
6. Monitor and address any issues or concerns raised by passengers during transportation.
7. Maintain accurate records of daily shuttle routes, passengers, and mileage.
8. Adhere to the designated shuttle schedule and ensure timely arrivals and departures.
9. Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage and other items.
10. Report any vehicle malfunctions or necessary repairs to the appropriate department.
11. Follow all safety protocols and procedures in case of emergencies.
12. Uphold the values and mission of Pepperdine University while representing the university as a Shuttle Driver.
13. Build positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff through friendly and professional interactions.
14. Attend mandatory training and meetings as required.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
