1. Develop and implement programs and activities that promote spiritual growth and development among students in a faith-driven environment.
2. Serve as a mentor and role model for students, providing guidance and support in their spiritual journey.
3. Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for students of all backgrounds and beliefs.
4. Collaborate with other staff members and student leaders to plan and execute events and initiatives that align with the mission and values of the university.
5. Foster relationships with students, providing them with pastoral care and support as needed.
6. Stay up-to-date on current trends and needs in student ministry and incorporate them into programming.
7. Work closely with the Director of Student Ministries to ensure the spiritual needs of students are being met.
8. Recruit and train student leaders to assist with various ministry activities and events.
9. Maintain a strong understanding of Christian teachings and doctrine and incorporate them into all aspects of student ministry.
10. Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of programs and make adjustments as needed.
11. Serve as a liaison between the university and local churches and faith-based organizations.
12. Participate in university events and activities to promote student ministry and engage with students.
13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing the university and its values at all times.
14. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, as well as any applicable laws and regulations.
15. Continuously strive to create a safe and supportive environment for students to grow in their faith.
