  1. Manage a diverse list of titles and authors, ensuring high-quality publishing standards are met.
  2. Collaborate with authors to shape their manuscripts into literary masterpieces.
  3. Utilize deep understanding of the publishing industry to identify and acquire potential new titles.
  4. Lead and manage a team of editors, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with authors, literary agents, and other industry professionals.
  6. Review and provide constructive feedback on manuscripts, ensuring they align with the company's vision and standards.
  7. Collaborate with the marketing and publicity teams to develop effective strategies for promoting and selling titles.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and market demands to inform publishing decisions.
  9. Participate in editorial meetings and contribute ideas for new titles and projects.
  10. Ensure all titles meet deadlines and are delivered to production on time.
  11. Uphold the company's values and mission to ignite imaginations, spark conversations, and inspire readers worldwide.
  12. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and book fairs.
  13. Handle any contractual or legal issues related to titles and authors.
  14. Continuously seek out opportunities for growth and improvement within the publishing industry.
  15. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment with colleagues and authors.

Job Qualifications
  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Publishing Industry, With A Strong Background In Editing And Proofreading.

  • A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In English, Journalism, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With Authors, Designers, And Other Team Members.

  • A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Editing And Publishing Best-Selling Books In Various Genres, With A Keen Eye For Detail And A Strong Understanding Of Market Trends.

  • Strong Leadership And Mentoring Abilities, With Experience Managing A Team Of Editors And Guiding Them To Produce High-Quality Work Within Tight Deadlines.
