Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join the Penguin Random House family. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for helping customers with their orders, processing payments, and managing inventory. To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and attention to detail. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers with their orders, providing information on product availability, pricing, and delivery times.
  2. Process customer payments and ensure accuracy of payment information.
  3. Manage inventory levels and order new stock as needed.
  4. Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  5. Utilize strong communication skills to ensure customers’ needs are met.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  7. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the products available for sale.
  8. Resolve customer complaints and disputes in a professional manner.
  9. Monitor customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  10. Follow up with customers on orders and respond to inquiries.
