Job Description

Penguin Random House is seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a leader in the publishing industry, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to enhance the reading experience for our customers. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our data and analytics products, making a significant impact on our company's success. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of data visualization and user-centered design principles, as well as a passion for storytelling through data.   1. Design and develop innovative data and analytics products that enhance the reading experience for customers.
  2. Utilize strong understanding of data visualization and user-centered design principles to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop product concepts.
  4. Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve and iterate on product designs.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate new design techniques and technologies into product development.
  6. Translate complex data into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics and charts.
  7. Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
  8. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  9. Act as a champion for user experience and ensure that all products are intuitive and user-friendly.
  10. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling and visually appealing presentations and marketing materials.
  11. Use creative problem-solving skills to overcome design challenges and find solutions that meet both user and business needs.
  12. Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of products and make recommendations for improvements or updates.
  13. Serve as a brand ambassador for Penguin Random House, showcasing the company's values and commitment to innovation through design.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Design, Data Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Product Design, Data Analytics, Or A Related Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Data And Analytics Tools And Techniques, Such As Sql, Python, And Tableau.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Designing And Implementing Data-Driven Products, Features, And Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
