- Assist editors in the preparation and production of manuscripts for publication.
- Communicate with authors, agents, and other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct research and fact-checking for manuscripts and book proposals.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules and track project progress.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure the timely delivery of final manuscripts.
- Maintain accurate records of manuscripts, contracts, and other important documents.
- Provide administrative support to editors, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing and promotional materials for upcoming books.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and offer creative ideas for book concepts and titles.
- Attend and assist with book events, such as book signings and author readings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and share relevant information with the team.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, and represent the company in a positive light.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the success of each book project.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the editorial process.

Bachelor's Degree In English, Journalism, Or A Related Field.
Previous Experience In A Publishing Or Editorial Role.
Strong Writing And Editing Skills.
Knowledge Of The Publishing Industry And Current Literary Trends.
