- Conduct research and provide editorial feedback on book submissions.
- Organize and maintain editorial schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate with authors, agents, and other publishing professionals in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare manuscripts for editing, including formatting and proofreading.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure high-quality book production.
- Create and maintain databases of book information and contracts.
- Assist with the preparation of marketing materials and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market research to provide valuable insights to editors.
- Attend and assist with book events and conferences.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing expenses, and maintaining office supplies.

Bachelor's Degree In English, Journalism, Communications, Or Related Field.
Strong Writing And Editing Skills, With A Keen Eye For Detail And A Thorough Understanding Of Grammar And Style.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Publishing Or Editorial Role, Preferably With A Focus On Fiction Or Non-Fiction Books.
Familiarity With Publishing Industry Standards And Processes, Including Manuscript Editing, Proofreading, And Production.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, Able To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
