  • Assist editors with all stages of the book publishing process, including manuscript evaluation, book production, and marketing.
  • Conduct research and provide editorial feedback on book submissions.
  • Organize and maintain editorial schedules and deadlines.
  • Communicate with authors, agents, and other publishing professionals in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare manuscripts for editing, including formatting and proofreading.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure high-quality book production.
  • Create and maintain databases of book information and contracts.
  • Assist with the preparation of marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market research to provide valuable insights to editors.
  • Attend and assist with book events and conferences.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing expenses, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for literature and storytelling.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In English, Journalism, Communications, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Writing And Editing Skills, With A Keen Eye For Detail And A Thorough Understanding Of Grammar And Style.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Publishing Or Editorial Role, Preferably With A Focus On Fiction Or Non-Fiction Books.

  • Familiarity With Publishing Industry Standards And Processes, Including Manuscript Editing, Proofreading, And Production.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, Able To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
