  1. Edit and shape manuscripts to ensure they meet the highest quality standards for publication.
  2. Collaborate with authors to refine their work and bring their stories to life.

  4. Work closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth and timely production of publications.
  5. Maintain a deep understanding of the publishing process and industry trends.
  6. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to authors to improve their work.
  7. Conduct thorough and detailed reviews of manuscripts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  8. Ensure all publications adhere to company style guidelines and branding standards.
  9. Stay up-to-date with market trends and reader preferences to identify potential bestsellers.
  10. Communicate effectively and professionally with authors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  11. Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In English, Journalism, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Book Publishing Or Editing

  • Proficiency In Copyediting, Proofreading, And Familiarity With Chicago Manual Of Style

  • Strong Communication And Project Management Skills

  • Demonstrated Passion For Literature And Ability To Identify And Acquire Compelling Book Projects.
