Penguin Random House is looking for an Associate Publicist/Publicist to join our team!As an Associate Publicist/Publicist, you will collaborate with a talented group of individuals to promote and publicize our diverse roster of books and authors. With your strong communication and organizational skills, you will play a crucial role in executing strategic publicity campaigns and building relationships with media outlets and influencers.To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in book publicity or a similar field. You should also possess exceptional writing skills and a keen eye for detail.If you are driven, creative, and have a passion for literature, we would love to hear from you!   1. Develop and execute strategic publicity campaigns for diverse roster of books and authors.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure coverage and reviews for books.
  3. Write compelling press releases, pitch letters, and other promotional materials to effectively communicate the value and appeal of our books to the media and public.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate author events, book tours, and other promotional opportunities.
  5. Monitor media coverage and track campaign success, providing regular updates and reports to the team.
  6. Serve as a brand ambassador for Penguin Random House, representing our company and authors in a professional and positive manner.
  7. Stay informed and up-to-date on industry trends and developments, utilizing this knowledge to inform and enhance publicity strategies.
  8. Utilize social media and other digital platforms to promote books and authors and engage with readers.
  9. Work closely with authors to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the publicity process.
  10. Assist in managing budgets and expenses related to publicity campaigns.
  11. Attend and assist with events and conferences to network and promote our brand and authors.
  12. Provide support to senior members of the team as needed.
  13. Meet and exceed performance goals and targets set by the team and company.
  14. Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to promote books and authors and reach new audiences.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing ideas and best practices with colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
