Job Description

Welcome to Penguin Random House, the world's largest trade book publisher! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate in Client Operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and passionate individuals in the publishing industry. We are looking for someone who is organized, efficient, and has a strong understanding of client relations and operations. If you are a self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a passion for books, we'd love to hear from you!

  1. Manage client relations and serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and requests.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services to clients.
  3. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies for improving client satisfaction and retention.
  4. Maintain and update client information and records in our database.
  5. Assist in creating and managing client contracts, agreements, and invoices.
  6. Monitor and report on key performance metrics for clients.
  7. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or concerns raised by clients.
  8. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services to clients.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in the publishing landscape.
  10. Support the development and execution of marketing and promotional activities for clients.
  11. Provide support for client events and meetings.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to client operations.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  14. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, both in written and verbal form.
  15. Represent Penguin Random House in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Customer Service Or Client Operations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Clients And Internal Teams.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Crm Software.

  • Knowledge Of The Publishing Industry And Understanding Of The Book Distribution Process.
