- Utilize cutting-edge technologies and software to develop 3D models, simulations, and virtual construction plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
- Conduct clash detection analysis to identify potential conflicts and provide solutions to avoid delays and costly rework.
- Create detailed construction documents from 3D models, including drawings, schedules, and quantity takeoffs.
- Train and educate team members on BIM/VDC processes and software.
- Continuously research and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Act as a liaison between the design team and construction team to ensure seamless integration of virtual and physical construction processes.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on constructability, sequencing, and logistics based on virtual models and simulations.
- Use VDC/BIM tools to monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays.
- Work closely with trade contractors to ensure accurate and timely input and updates to the BIM model.
- Maintain and organize project documentation and ensure all BIM standards and protocols are followed.
- Proactively identify and resolve any technical issues related to BIM/VDC processes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in BIM/VDC technology and make recommendations for implementation.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to showcase the company's innovative use of BIM/VDC in project delivery.
- Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in all BIM/VDC deliverables.
Bachelor's Degree In Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working With Bim Technology In The Construction Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Bim Software Such As Revit, Navisworks, And Autocad.
Strong Understanding Of Construction Processes And Ability To Read And Interpret Construction Documents.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Project Teams And Stakeholders.
