
Shipper/Receiver Coordinator

- Coordinate shipping and receiving processes: The primary responsibility of the Shipper/Receiver Coordinator is to oversee the shipping and receiving of materials and equipment for construction projects. This includes coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of items.
- Maintain inventory and tracking systems: The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials and equipment. This may involve using software or other tools to monitor inventory levels, update shipping information, and track delivery times.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders: The coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for all shipping and receiving inquiries. This may involve communicating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to provide updates on delivery status, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards: The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all shipping and receiving processes comply with safety and regulatory standards. This may include verifying proper labeling and packaging of materials, as well as adhering to transportation regulations.
- Optimize shipping and receiving processes: The coordinator will be expected to continuously review and improve shipping and receiving processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Knowledge Of Shipping And Receiving Procedures: A Shipper/Receiver Coordinator At Pcl Construction Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Shipping And Receiving Processes, Including Documentation, Packaging, And Tracking.
Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Keep Track Of Incoming And Outgoing Shipments, As Well As Maintaining Inventory Levels.
Attention To Detail: The Shipper/Receiver Coordinator Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accurate Documentation And Proper Handling Of Shipments.
Experience With Inventory Management Software: Pcl Construction May Require Proficiency In Inventory Management Software To Track And Manage Incoming And Outgoing Shipments.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: This Role May Involve Handling Multiple Shipments And Coordinating With Various Teams, So The Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment Is Essential.
