As the Senior Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of complex manufacturing projects.   1. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex manufacturing projects.
  2. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  3. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  4. Monitor and manage project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
  5. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal team members, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  6. Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  7. Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  8. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  9. Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other external partners.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement innovative approaches to improve project delivery.
  12. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  13. Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management.
  14. Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
  15. Participate in the recruitment and training of new team members.
  16. Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance their skills and contribute to their professional growth.
  17. Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  18. Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
  19. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members.
  20. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Project Management: A Senior Superintendent At Pcl Construction Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Manufacturing Center Projects From Start To Finish. They Should Be Able To Demonstrate Their Ability To Coordinate And Lead Multiple Teams And Subcontractors To Ensure Projects Are Completed On Time And Within Budget.

  • Deep Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes And Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Manufacturing Processes And Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Read And Interpret Complex Blueprints And Technical Drawings. This Knowledge Is Essential For Overseeing The Construction Of Specialized Manufacturing Facilities And Ensuring They Are Built To Meet The Specific Needs Of The Client.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Construction Team, The Senior Superintendent Must Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With All Stakeholders, Including Clients, Contractors, And Team Members, To Ensure That Everyone Is On The Same Page And Working Towards The Same Goals.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Safety And Regulatory Standards: The Senior Superintendent Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulatory Requirements Related To Construction In The Manufacturing Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Osha Regulations, Building Codes, And Environmental Standards To Ensure That The Project Is Completed Safely And In Compliance With All Applicable Laws.

  • Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team: A Senior Superintendent At Pcl Construction Is Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Construction Workers And Subcontractors. They Should Have The Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor This Team, Providing Guidance, Support, And Feedback To Ensure That Everyone Is Working Efficiently And Effectively Towards Project Goals. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Address Any Performance Issues That May Arise.
