- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and monitor safety performance.
- Train and educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
- Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to proactively identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Monitor and maintain safety equipment and ensure its proper use and functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety compliance and incidents.
- Communicate and collaborate with external safety regulators and inspectors.
- Conduct safety orientations for new employees and contractors, ensuring they are aware of safety policies and procedures.
- Lead and guide emergency response procedures in the event of an accident or incident.
- Prepare and present safety reports to management and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Foster a positive and proactive safety culture within the organization.
- Collaborate with human resources to ensure compliance with relevant safety laws and regulations.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Safety-Related Role, Preferably In The Construction Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Construction Management, Or A Related Field.
Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Other Relevant Safety Certifications.
Strong Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Construction Industry Safety Standards.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Motivate A Team And Effectively Engage With All Levels Of Management.
